This division gets a nurturing introduction into the world of Summer Camp. Activities are designed to reinforce positive behaviors and capture the natural curiosity of children at this age (typically rising 1st and 2nd graders).
This division harnesses the energy and enthusiasm typical of campers this age (typically rising 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders) and challenges each child to experience success. Team building is a priority for the activities planned for this division, as campers prepare to move into the senior division.
Recognizing that children this age (typically rising 6th graders through age 13) need activities and time frames that depart from the traditional day camp setting. The senior division program is designed to foster independence. Activities include day trips (as allowed due to COVID regulations, days at the lake, and giving back to their community.
Each day at Camp Blue Sky includes exciting new experiences. Throughout the summer, daily themes, special events and sometimes field trips supplement the programs of each division. Each camp day is distinguished by a morning and afternoon program. Campers follow a rotation of activities, some structured and some unstructured.
