Meet Our Staff

Preschool Director
I am thrilled to be a part of the team here at the LeafSpring School at Three Chopt. I graduated from American University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education and a concentration in Literature. I have been a part of the Rainbow Station/LeafSpring School family since January of 2011 when I served as a Lead Teacher and then Assistant Director at the Virginia Beach school. From 2013 until 2018 I was living in Shenzhen, China where I worked as the Chief Program Officer for Rainbow Station China. During my time there I was responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the schools, training and hiring staff, and assisting with the growth of the company throughout the country.
In 2016, I received my Executive Certificate in Global Management from the Thunderbird Executive Education Program, and I am a certified American Red Cross Instructor for CPR and First Aid. In my free time I enjoy traveling, reading books, cooking, and studying Chinese.

Assistant Director
I joined the LeafSpring School family in August 2014 when I moved from Maryland. I started teaching in 2011 when I discovered a love for watching children grow and explore the world. I was promoted to Assistant Director in the Fall of 2017 and have enjoyed being a part of a different side of education.
My husband, Alex, and I are both originally from Germantown, MD. We have a beautiful daughter, Isabella, who was born in 2016. I graduated from Towson University with a bachelors in Psychology and a minor in Family Studies. Becoming a Mommy has shown me a whole new world of love, patience and compassion. Some things I enjoy are spending time with family, traveling and eating ice cream sundaes.

Preschool Curriculum Specialist
I’m delighted to be a part of the LeafSpring School administrative team. I am an alum of Virginia Commonwealth University with my Bachelors of Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Early Childhood Education. I have taught various age groups in my many years of experience, ranging from Infants to Pre-Kindergarten. As the curriculum specialist, I will assist teachers in developing and implementing their classroom lesson plans, guided by our proprietary curriculum, PLAYWORKS and our leadership curricula, iNSPIRED.
My husband, Jake, and I are both Richmond transplants and have two active and humorous boys, Grayson and Cullen whom are both enrolled in the Village program. We all enjoy spending time outdoors; from playing baseball to riding bikes to exploring at the park, our hearts are happy when there is fresh air. If I’m not spending time running to baseball games, church activities, or the store, I really enjoy reading, singing and trying new recipes.
