LeafSpring School at Three Chopt

Private Kindergarten at Three Chopt

Academics, Exploration, Creativity and More!

A POSITIVE, NURTURING ATMOSPHERE WITHIN AN INNOVATIVE, CREATIVE ACADEMIC ENVIRONMENT

Private Kindergarten at LeafSpring School at Three Chopt is a wonderful option for every child.

Our experienced teachers help students master Kindergarten skills in an environment that promotes intellectual curiosity, a love of learning, and leadership values. We meet children at their individual developmental levels and motivate them to achieve academic success. This is not just another year of preschool – we cover content that positions your child to be ready for 1st grade (understanding each child is different).

ABOUT THE PROGRAM:

  • We use the Starfall curriculum throughout the year and complement it with LeafSpring’s proprietary leadership program, INSPIRED.
  • All students will be assessed prior to the start of the school year to guide planning and baselines and provided evaluations throughout the year.
  • Parents will have an open dialogue with their child’s teacher via parent-teacher conferences and our digital daily notes app.
  • The entire building is your child’s classroom – they will get to explore the many creative and intentional spaces in our afterschool building during the school day.
  • Before and after school care is provided, as well as care during winter break, spring break, snow days, and teacher planning days.
  • Kindergarten at LeafSpring School is run like a typical kindergarten classroom – we follow the Henrico County School District schedule.
  • We will work with your local school district to ensure a smooth transition to elementary school.
  • Private Kindergarten at LeafSpring School is a wonderful opportunity to introduce your child to the primary school years in a smaller, more unique setting.
  • Our small class sizes allow for individualized instruction and a curriculum that is tailored to your child’s needs.
